Jan 1, 2025 · At least we did get the Hellfire Gala, the Simonson Jean Grey mini, the Immortal X-men stuff, and X-men Forever and Rise of the Powers of X #5. All together it was a big story for Jean - but I get it she wasn't always the main focus and for awhile she was victimized again and again - stuff kept happening to her.

Fell in love with her when I read Lifedeath, a story that I have re-read several times. I am a fanatic when it comes to Jean, but more of a normal fan when it comes to Ororo. ”Storm” is a much better comic than ”Phoenix”.

They would not choose Phoenix, Arizona at the butte’s where Jean first held Scott’s optic blast back (they usually reference the act of holding Scott’s optic blast, not the location).

Jan 1, 2023 · Jean has been great in Duggan's X-men, and Gillen's use of Jean was fantastic in Judgement Day. I think good things will continue. It has been great witnessing the Jean thread going from despair (from the initial Hickman Marvel Girl days) to what we have now - folks mostly enjoying the ride.
