In his latest book, A Voice for the Voiceless, the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, unveiled his political “plan” for Tibet’s future. The book indirectly reopened the thorny issue of his succession in the context of ongoing tensions with the Beijing regime.

In his new book, Voice for the Voiceless, the exiled Tibetan Buddhist leader details his lifetime of futile negotiations with China and predicts his reincarnation will be found someday in the free world.

The Dalai Lama, who fled Tibet for India in 1959 after China’s invasion, has long advocated for the “Middle Way” approach—seeking greater autonomy for Tibet without pursuing full independence. Despite this moderate stance, China considers Tibet part of its territory and has labeled him a “separatist,” asserting its right to appoint his successor.
