Increasing the number of nuclear powered submarines operated by Australia, Britain and the United States will make the Indo Pacific more secure and was in the United States' interests, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Monday.

SYDNEY (Reuters) -Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said he would meet with U.S. President Donald Trump at the Group of Seven summit in Canada for talks on the AUKUS defence pact and tariffs, in what will be the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders.
