Aldi has started snapping up a few shuttered Big Lots storefronts, joining a growing list of retailers scooping up remains.

Several stores, including CVS and Publix, at the Dolphin Village shopping center are severely damaged following a fire on Tuesday.

A fire that first broke out Tuesday afternoon in the CVS at a St. Pete Beach shopping plaza reignited Tuesday night, with flames spreading to the adjacent Publix.
