The Cleveland Browns had a very unique 2025 NFL Draft as they ended up selecting two quarterbacks that could compete for the starting job. Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders are both on the team now, and they are competing at rookie minicamp. Gabriel was drafted ahead of Sanders, but Sanders has been looking better during camp.

In an exclusive interview with Nathan Zegura for "Cleveland Browns Daily" after the conclusion of rookie minicamp, Sanders acknowledged the history of Cleveland football that has left fans, in his view, begging for hope. He also expressed confidence that he can be the one to alter the course of the downtrodden franchise.

Vardell was known as “Touchdown Tommy” in college, and was solid during his first two seasons with Cleveland, logging 1,013 yards on 270 carries and three touchdowns. His final two seasons, however, were limited by injuries and resulted in 19 carries through 10 games.
