Mets re-sign Drew Smith, who is unlikely to pitch this season, to one-year deal
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — The Mets’ longest-tenured pitcher is back — sort of. They re-signed reliever Drew Smith to a one-year contract with a team option for 2026, sources told Newsday on Wednesday. He will make $1 million this season and would make $2 million next season.
