Snow has begun to accumulate on roads north of Kansas City as residents prepare for the possibility of several inches of snow Tuesday, with frigid temperatures to follow.

Snowfall ended after a winter storm that blanketed Kansas City with snow Tuesday moved eastward out of the region, according to the National Weather Service. While there may be some snow flurries at times on Wednesday, the weather service said no accumulation is expected.

Another round of school closures in the Kansas City area has parents juggling work and child care yet again. Some school district are already considering whether to push back summer break.
