Jack in the Box will close up to 200 underperforming restaurants and is considering selling its Del Taco brand.

Jack in the Box is seeking to offload its struggling Del Taco restaurant business and suspended its dividend as part of a restructuring plan under new CEO Lance Tucker, it said on Wednesday.

The Española Del Taco location is officially closed as of April 27 and city leaders are in disagreement over what caused it.
