Former Chicago Bears Head Coach Dick Jauron has died Saturday morning at the age of 74. Jauron coached the Bears for five seasons from 1999 to 2003 and was named the AP Coach of the Year in 2001, leading the team to a 13-3 record.

Former Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery had a clear message about what kind of coach Ben Johnson is.

Speaking to CHGO Bears, Nagy was asked to share his advice for new Bears head coach Ben Johnson, who departed from the NFC North rival Detroit Lions this offseason. Nagy's message to Johnson was simple: "Win. And beat the Packers."

Dick Jauron, who served as head coach of both the Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills, died Saturday at the age of 74.

Jauron, who spent eight total seasons as a head coach for the Bills and Bears, passed away after a short bout with cancer, according to a Facebook post from his daughter Kacy, who wrote he was “the very best son, brother, friend, teammate, husband, father, coach, HUMAN that we were all so lucky to love.”

Displayed in a wicker chair on the front porch of Ben Johnson’s boyhood home, atop a hill 15 minutes southeast of downtown, is a framed sign with North Carolina Tar Heels logos that reads, “Whatever It Takes.
