Midfielder Lucas Bergvall has signed a new contract with Tottenham, stating he feels he is at "a club with great ambitions". The 19 year-old, signed from Swedish side Djurgarden for £8.5m in the summer,

Bergvall rejected an offer from Barcelona to join Spurs from Swedish side Djurgarden in February 2024 for £8.5million.

As such, Tottenham have rewarded Bergvall accordingly, officially announcing the signing of the Swedish midfielder to an extension through the 2030/31 season, tying him to North London for the foreseeable future from the age of 19 through his years as a young player.
