TCU won its first-ever beach volleyball championship, defeating Loyola Marymount 3-2 in the title matches. This was the first time in NC beach volleyball history that UCLA or Southern Cal did not take home the trophy.

For the first time in school history, TCU has secured an NCAA national championship in beach volleyball. The Horned Frogs accomplished the feat Sunday, taking down Loyola Marymount by a 3-2 score in Gulf Shores, Alabama. With the victory, TCU broke a string of Southern California-based dominance in the sport.

No. 3 seed Stanford beach volleyball fell 3-1 to No. 6 seed Cal Poly in the quarterfinals of the 2025 NCAA Championships, bringing an end to a historic season.
