An off-duty San Francisco police officer has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a Saturday morning car crash that left five people injured. The two-vehicle collision occurred around 2 a.m. at Sunset Boulevard and Rivera Street, according to a news release from the San Francisco Police Department.

A man suspected in a fatal shooting in San Francisco's Mission District last week has been arrested, after being found in Marin County, police said.

The Novato Police Department said a SWAT team served a search warrant Wednesday night for a suspect wanted in connection with a “violent homicide involving a firearm” in San Francisco. NPD said police SWAT served the warrant at a home on the 400 block of Alameda Del Prado.
