An arrest was made in Culpeper, Virginia after an SUV drove through a crowd following a “No Kings” demonstration, police said.
Hortman, a Democrat, and her husband were shot at their home in Brooklyn Park, a city north of Minneapolis, on Saturday morning by a man dressed as a police officer, authorities said. Police are still searching for the suspect, named by the FBI as 57-year-old Vance Boelter, who escaped following a shootout with officers.
The demonstration outside the federal building was separate from the local “No Kings” event held earlier as part of nationwide rallies.
In total, detectives seized over half a kilogram of cocaine, more than 3,000 methamphetamine pills, fentanyl, hydrocodone, alprazolam, 13 firearms, and over $6,000 in cash. (Photo/MSP Second District) MSP Second District
