NCAA men's tournament bubble teams started their conference tournament journeys on Wednesday with chance to impress the selection committee.

Duke will play with the No. 1 national ranking next to its name for the first time this season when it takes the court in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament quarterfinals Thursday afternoon.

The Demon Deacons are 13-7 against ACC opponents and 8-3 in non-conference play. Wake Forest ranks fourth in the ACC in team defense, allowing 68.0 points while holding opponents to 40.4% shooting.
