Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis was an NBA Correspondent for the NBA Finals featuring the OKC Thunder and Indiana Pacers.

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen both sit atop the list for All-NBA First Team players for the Bulls.

The Bulls held a weeklong intrasquad scrimmage/workout in Los Angeles earlier this month, and not only did Buzelis look buffed up, but he played like a guy on the verge of a breakout to stardom.

Another back-and-forth game went to the final seconds. With the score tied and 28 seconds to play, the Bulls called timeout. The Jazz expected Jordan to take the final shot, but he passed to a wide-open Steve Kerr, who broke the Jazz kingdom’s hearts. Final score after a final dunk, 90-88.

The Bulls are working to reach an agreement on an extension with head coach Billy Donovan, reports Marc Stein for The Stein Line (via X). This comes on the heels of the Bulls declining the Knicks’ request to interview Donovan in their head coaching search.

The NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers are tied 2-2 after OKC overcame a double-digit deficit in Game 4 to even the series. OKC outscored the Pacers 12-3 in the final 3:34 of the game and will now go back to having home-court advantage.

1998 — The Detroit Red Wings become the first team to win consecutive Stanley Cups since Pittsburgh in 1992, completing a sweep of Washington with a 4-1 win behind two goals by Doug Brown. It’s the fourth straight NHL finals sweep, a first in major pro sports history.

The Chicago Bulls have yet to agree to a new deal with Josh Giddey. While Giddey made solid strides with Chicago during the second half of the 2024-25 campaign, the Oklahoma City Thunder appear much better with him off the team and Alex Caruso on it.
