Joe Hendry appeared in the WWE men's Royal Rumble, representing TNA Wrestling as the TNA Champion. He was eliminated by Roman Reigns in the match. WWE and TNA have a partnership that will see TNA and WWE talent crossover, with NXT talent appearing on TNA iMPACT! and TNA talent appearing on NXT.
