Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has asked the Treasury Department to deputize some of its IRS agents and other law-enforcement personnel to root out illegal migrants. The request marks the Trump administration’s latest effort to devote more federal resources to fulfill his campaign pledge to deport millions of undocumented immigrants.
