Local libraries are warning Vermonters about what they say is a new chapter of book banning. The Vermont Library Association says they have seen more and more demands to censor or ban books in library collections over the last few years.
"This is a difficult but necessary step that will preserve our flexibility and improve our ability, to the extent possible, to respond to the likelihood of change," the note reads.
