News that Rite Aid is sell off its assets amid a bankruptcy doesn’t mean shuttered brick-and-mortar stores will re-open under a CVS Health or Walgreens banner.

In a new court filing on May 9, Rite Aid listed 68 stores closing including two in Upstate New York at 9 Broad Street in Salamanca, and 1070 Genesee Street in Buffalo. The company also said it acquired $1.94 billion in financing to keep its other locations open to keep stores operational during bankruptcy proceedings and a potential sale.

A Rite Aid distribution center in Harford County, Maryland, is expected to lay off more than 300 workers and close its doors after the Pennsylvania-based pharmacy filed for bankruptcy for a second time.

The Rite Aid store at 315 W. Fourth St. in Quarryville is one of 68 stores the company is closing, the company said in a bankruptcy filing on Friday. More than 40 of the stores on the latest list are in Pennsylvania.
