Elon Musk's social media platform X was down again for thousands of users in the United States, according to Downdetector.com. The number of outage reports rose to more than 40,000 after easing a bit earlier in the day,

Elon Musk's social media platform X experienced several outages on Monday morning, according to user reports on Downdetector. Nearly 40,000 users reported problems with the platform around 10 a.m. ET, and about 28,000 people were experiencing issues as of 11:30 ET. Musk acquired X, formerly known as Twitter, for $44 billion in 2022.

According to outage tracking website Downdetector.com, in the first incident there were more than than 21,000 incidents of people in the U.S. reporting issues with the platform and 10,800 in the U.K. The platform appeared to be back to normal around 2.30 a.m. PT. In total, X was down for roughly 45 minutes.
