Scheffler, after his 6-under 65 on Saturday, held a three-shot lead entering the final round of the PGA Championship. He extended the lead, but now — after holding a 5-shot lead — Rahm has tied him atop the leaderboard.

Rahm particularly ran into trouble on the final three holes, as he bogeyed No. 16 before his tee shot bounced into the water on No. 17. He carded double bogeys on No. 17 and No. 18, falling out of the race to win the event.
