The Edmonton Oilers are advancing to the Western Conference Finals on the strength of back-to-back shutouts from none other than Stuart Skinner. On the other side of the NHL playoff bracket, the Florida Panthers pushed the Toronto Maple Leafs to the brink of elimination with huge games from Aaron Ekblad and Sergei Bobrovsky.

Few NHL starting goalies have had as much of a roller coaster ride the past two years as Stuart Skinner. The Edmonton Oilers‘ No. 1 goaltender has shown he can absolutely steal games, and he was a big reason why the Oilers nearly won the Stanley Cup last year.

Stuart Skinner stole the spotlight as the Edmonton Oilers advanced to the Western Conference Final for the third time in four years. After being benched early in the first round, Skinner responded with back-to-back shutouts to help Edmonton close out the series.
