The Chinese embassies in India and Pakistan on Friday advised citizens to step up safety precautions and to be cautious about travelling to the South Asian countries, amidst the worst fighting in the region in nearly three decades.

The Chinese Embassies in both India and Pakistan issued statements on their official WeChat accounts Friday afternoon, reminding Chinese citizens to closely monitor the situation, exercise caution when traveling to either country,

Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Nepal (Chhinnamasta Barrack), Krishna Dhakal, stated that individuals crossing the border are being questioned regarding their identity and destination. Likewise, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pramod Raya, stationed at the Jatahi point, said, "We have increased security surveillance."
