Greta Gerwig's upcoming Chronicles of Narnia movie has reportedly made an offer to Daniel Craig. It's not clear what role he's been approached for or if he's keen to take on the part, but Deadline reports Netflix is keen to have him involved.

It does indeed. It's been confirmed that Greta Gerwig's first Narnia movie for Netflix will be released on IMAX on Thanksgiving Day 2026 (i.e. Nov. 26, 2026) for an exclusive four-week period before hitting Netflix on Christmas Day (i.e. Dec. 25, 2026). The film's IMAX run is expected to span 90 countries across 1,000 auditoriums.

Gerwig will now be directing at least two Netflix films based on the beloved C.S. Lewis novel series. The first Gerwig-directed “Narnia” film will premiere in IMAX theaters in November 2026 before streaming on Netflix starting Christmas Day 2026.
