Israel has launched a series of strikes against Iran, targeting the country’s nuclear program and other military infrastructure. Iran has launched its own strikes in retaliation.

The stakes could not be higher as Iranian officials have called the attack “ a declaration of war ” and vowed that destroyed nuclear facilities “would be rebuilt.” Israel, meanwhile has warned its campaign will continue “ for as many days as it takes .”

Iran and Israel continued on Sunday their aerial attacks, which began Friday with a series of Israeli strikes on Iran.

Five people have been killed and dozens injured as Iran launched fresh strikes across central Israel overnight, according to Israel's national emergency service. Footage shows explosions and damage in Tel Aviv and Haifia.
