Goldman tapped Hunter Pierson as region head for Southeast Private Wealth Management. Pierson joined the company in 2008 and most recently was a private wealth advisor in Atlanta for ultra-high net worth families, foundations and institutions across the Southeast, according to a Jan. 28 announcement.

That said, the stock has been on fire, surging 116% since November 2023 as the investment bank crushed earnings expectations last year. Looking ahead, Goldman Sachs anticipates a meaningful shift that could benefit its primary business in 2025 and beyond.
