The New York Jets have agreed to terms with Denver Broncos assistant general manager Darren Mougey to be their GM, a person familiar with the hiring told The Associated Press. The 39-year-old Mougey has worked as Broncos general manager George Paton's top assistant for the past three seasons.

So it should come as no surprise that with the Broncos’ success, other teams have taken notice. Saturday afternoon, the New York Jets agreed in principle to make Darren Mougey their new general manager, a source confirmed to The Post.
