Waffle House is cracking under the pressure of the bird flu. The Atlanta-based chain announced a "temporary" $0.50 surcharge on eggs.

The beloved Georgia restaurant chain is unsure how long the egg shortage will last. It's unclear when the surcharge will no longer be in effect.
