The Eagles moved up in the 2025 NFL draft and selected Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell, a South Jersey native, with the 31st overall pick.

This time, Roseman, with time running out, traded up one spot with his old friend Andy Reid to get the 31st overall pick. The Chiefs, in exchange, got the Eagles’ second of four fifth-round picks at No. 164 in addition to the 32nd overall pick.

Campbell was one of two Alabama first-round NFL draft picks along with guard Tyler Booker, who went No. 12 overall to the Dallas Cowboys. In three seasons with the Crimson Tide, Campbell had 184 career tackles, 16 tackles-for-loss and 5.5 sacks. He has two career interceptions, five pass deflections, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.
