BOSTON -- Jeremy Swayman, who will represent the United States at the 4 Nations Face-Off from Feb. 12-20, made 35 saves for the Boston Bruins in a 3-0 win against the Minnesota Wild at TD Garden on Tuesday. It was Swayman's third shutout this season and 15th in the NHL.

Charlie McAvoy got his 299th career point with a goal in the second period and Jeremy Swayman stopped 35 shots for his third shutout of the season as the Boston Bruins beat the Minnesota Wild 3-0 on Tuesday night.

To make room on the roster, the Bruins sent Vinni Lettieri to Providence which means the Minnesota native will miss facing the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night. Lettieri, 29, had two goals in eight games with the Bruins.
