Defensive tackle Mason Graham, a consensus All-American and a finalist for the Outland Award and Nagurski Trophy, not surprisingly was the first former Michigan player to be selected in the NFL Draft.

But instead, the Jaguars took Travis Hunter out of Colorado, and the Browns gathered draft picks and took their guy at No. 5. Graham will head to Ohio, where he will play alongside NFL great Myles Garrett along the defensive line.

It was long believed that Mason Graham was going to be the first Wolverine off the board in the 2025 NFL draft. And the latest mock drafts indicated that Graham was sliding from going at No. 5 overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars, potentially falling outside of the top 10.
