The counties that were affected included Union, Caldwell, Laurel, Pulaski, Russell, and Trigg counties. FEMA is encouraging every homeowner or renter who suffered damage or loss to apply.
The storms that hit Kentucky last weekend left 19 people dead and destroyed or severely damaged 1,500 or more homes.
