The Cleveland Browns’ signing of veteran receiver Diontae Johnson might seem like a routine offseason acquisition on the surface, but according to cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, it represents much more – both for the team and the player.

Johnson has worn out his welcome with every team he’s been a member of in the league. Pittsburgh traded him to the Carolina Panthers, and Carolina shipped Johnson to Baltimore after just seven games during the 2024 season.
