An 18-wheeler truck carrying roughly $80,000 in dimes spilled out onto a highway in Alvord, Texas after overturning in a crash. This led to a 14-hour cleanup effort with the highway closed to the public.

Authorities say millions of coins spilled onto a Texas highway this week after a tractor-trailer hauling $800,000 in dimes rolled over in an accident.

Texas Department of Public Safety said the accident occurred as the vehicle was driving through Alvord in Wise County around 5:30 a.m. April 29.
