The Dallas Stars once again defended home-ice advantage to extend their edge over the Winnipeg Jets to 3-1 in their Western Conference second-round series.

Mikko Rantanen upped his NHL-leading playoff total to 19 points (nine goals) with the primary assist on Granlund’s second goal that broke a 1-1 tie with 2:08 left in the second period and put the Stars ahead to stay.

Stars head coach Pete DeBoer announced Tuesday that Heiskanen would return to action for Game 4 against the Jets. The Stars activated the defenseman from long-term injured reserve a few hours later, prior to the 7:00 p.m. puck drop.
