Fresh off his election into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in his final year on the ballot, Billy Wagner will receive the ultimate honor from the Astros.

Billy Wagner pitched for five organizations in his major-league career. The former closer made at least one All-Star team with four of them, saved at least 100 games with two and played his final season with the team he grew up following.

It will be a busy summer for former left-handed closer Billy Wagner, who will have his No. 13 retired by the Houston Astros before an Aug. 16 home game.

Billy Wagner will be the 10th former Astro to have his number retired and the first since Craig Biggio's No. 7 was retired in 2018.
