The college football season is still many months away, but it’s always interesting to see projections for what Notre Dame football could look like in the fall. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, it could be another very good year for the Irish.

Nebraska football is getting some good news. The Cornhuskers are picking up a veteran offensive lineman, per On3. Former Notre Dame starter Rocco Spindler is coming to Lincoln. Spindler is one of the top three interior offensive linemen available in the portal,

Nebraska football's transfer portal class got another major bump Sunday. Offensive lineman Rocco Spindler has committed to the Huskers. He has one season of eligibility remaining. Spindler spent the last four seasons at Notre Dame.

Much of the luster of the first Wednesday in February has been lost with the addition of the early signing period in December, as the Irish signed 24 commits while also taking 8 transfers. With some much player movement already, and not many 2025 uncommitted recruits being linked to Notre Dame, we shouldn’t expect much from this signing period.

Nebraska landed the biggest of the bigs with the transfer addition of offensive lineman Rocco Spindler (6-5/325lbs) from the Notre Dame line that played for the National Championship this past season.

This past season, Rocco Spindler was a critical piece of Notre Dame's offensive line as the Fighting Irish reached the national championship game. Spindler started 13 of 16 games for Notre Dame, which finished 14-2 with wins over Indiana,
