TCU becomes the first school other than USC or UCLA to win the NCAA beach volleyball title, defeating Loyola Marymount in five sets.

For the first time in school history, TCU has secured an NCAA national championship in beach volleyball. The Horned Frogs accomplished the feat Sunday, taking down Loyola Marymount by a 3-2 score in Gulf Shores, Alabama. With the victory, TCU broke a string of Southern California-based dominance in the sport.
