The franchise formerly known as the Utah Hockey Club and the Arizona Coyotes will now be known as the Utah Mammoth, the NHL team announced Wednesday.

The Utah NHL franchise finally has a permanent name, with the Mammoth identity and branding officially revealed.

The mammoth head is visible as a secondary mark on the club's away jersey, which uses the diagonal "UTAH" as its primary design. The crossbars on the last two letters are angled, which SEG described as another homage to Utah's mountains.
