NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported last week Steelers general manager Omar Khan has made calls on a few available free agents and the franchise has inquired on several players currently employed by other teams. Wideout Gabe Davis recently came in for a visit, but was not signed.

With Aaron Rodgers in the fold, here are three wide receivers the Steelers could look to add for their new signal-caller.

"Pittsburgh already added two veteran corners to its roster during the offseason in Darius Slay and Brandin Echols, but at this stage in his career, Alexander is better than both. The Steelers could consider signing him and having him split playing time with the 34-year-old Slay to keep both healthy long-term."
